Bosco College of Teacher Education hosted a vibrant Talent Hunt on the 18th and 19th of September 2025, exclusively for the first-semester students. The primary objective of the event was to enhance student confidence while promoting unity and mutual encouragement through collaborative performances. Fr. John served as the Master of Ceremonies on both days, leading the event with enthusiasm and energy, contributing greatly to its lively atmosphere.

Day 1 – Solo Competitions (18th September 2025)

The first day featured solo song and speech competitions, judged by the faculty members. The 1st semester students were divided into four groups, with each group nominating participants for the solo events.

In the solo song category: Ms. Nighali Zhimo secured the first prize followed by Ms. Amo Manteih N. Walim, Robinson Durong, and Mayangsangla.

In the speech category: Mr. Bolan Hanse won the first place followed by Lita K. Zhimo, Tshuvivi Kajiri, and Gundailung Gonmei.

Day 2 – Group Performances (19th September 2025)

The second day was dedicated to group events, where each of the four groups, comprising around 15 members, showcased their talents in team dance and choir performances.

While the judges deliberated on the results, Erale Pame and Senjumbeni Ngullie from the 3rd semester captivated the audience with their powerful vocal performances.

The results of the group events were as follows:

  • Group A won the group dance competition.
  • Group B secured the first prize in choir,
  • Group D earned the second prize in both dance and choir categories.

Principal Dr. Fr. Jose Joseph congratulated all the students for their enthusiastic participation and highlighted the purpose of such events—to foster teamwork, uplift one another, and grow through co-curricular engagement.

He also expressed sincere appreciation to Dr. Lovely Sarkar and Ms. Arino Nakhro, the faculty in charge of organizing the event, for their dedication in making the Talent Hunt a grand success.
