The 4th Semester Physical Education students of Bosco College of Teacher Education
organized a hiking trip to Puliebadze, Jotsoma, as part of their experiential learning
activities. A total of 35 students, accompanied by 5 faculty members, participated in this
enriching event. The hike was led by Sir Imsumanen, Physical Education Faculty, who
guided the students throughout the journey.
The students were captivated by the breath-taking beauty of the wilderness, surrounded by
lush green mountains and serene landscapes. As they ascended to the summit, they were
greeted with panoramic views of Kohima and Jotsoma, which left them in awe of nature’s
grandeur.
Following the hike, group activities were conducted to foster teamwork and collaboration
among the students, after which a shared lunch added a spirit of camaraderie to the day.
The event was not just a physical activity but also a reflection on the importance of
harmonizing oneself with nature. It offered the students a much-needed break from their
academic routine, reminding them to pause, breathe, and appreciate the beauty of God’s
creation.
This memorable hike served as a lesson on the importance of physical fitness, mental wellbeing, and spiritual connection with nature, inspiring the students to embrace a more
balanced and symphonic way of living.
