BCTE SPORTS 2023
The Bosco college of Teacher Education held their annual sports meet on the 8th of February, 2023 at the college premises. On the first day of the sports meet, a short program was conducted to inaugurate the event; wherein Ms Anen was the compere. The Inaguration began at 9 A.M. with welcome speech from Father M.P. Thomas with Fr. Paul, Principal Salesian College as the chief guest who shared few words of encouragement to the students. Thereon, an anthem competition took place among the designated houses, red, blue, yellow and green. It followed with pledge led by Mr. Rangmai and words of inspiration by Fr. Sabu.
The first day began with great vigour and excitement from the students who showed great sportsmanship. Games such as boys sack race, girls spoon and marble race, boys and girls 100 m race and basketball were played on the first day.
The second day commenced with a short assembly and anthem presentation. The games that were played on the second day were relay race, musical chair, girls and boys volleyball as well as badminton as well as basketball final match.
The final day of sports meet concluded on the 10th of Feb, 2023. It was especially significant not only for its finale but also for the grandeur of the mega dance competition held among the teams. All four houses performed with much enthusiasm coupled with well practiced choreography and zeal to win. After the mega dance, the remaining sports finals were played and the fun filled, competitive 3 day sports meet concluded with a price distribution and closing ceremony. The green house won the first place with the blue house closing up on 2nd place and yellow house and red house as 3rd and 4th place respectively. Overall, it was a successful event where the students, teachers and administration could come together as one and show great sportsmanship for the glory of God
