Friday 14th March 2025:- The Bosco College of Teacher Education in Dimapur, Nagaland, hosted a one-day seminar on HIV/AIDS awareness, providing a platform for students to deepen their understanding of the disease’s harmful effects and transmission methods. The seminar, held with the participation of 100 students from the B.Ed. program, was facilitated by Dr. Fr. Roy George SDB, the Executive Director of AIDA Don Bosco Dimapur who served as the resource person for the event.
Dr. Fr. Roy George SDB commenced the seminar by emphasizing the critical importance of awareness regarding HIV/AIDS. He underscored the significance of understanding the detrimental effects of the disease, both on an individual level and within society at large. Through engaging presentations and interactive discussions, Fr. Roy elucidated various aspects of HIV/AIDS, including its transmission pathways, preventive measures, and societal implications.
