Dimapur, June 25, 2025 – A one-day Job Fair 2025 was held at Salesian College of Higher Secondary Education, Dimapur, on Wednesday, June 25. The event was jointly organised by the Integrated Development Association (AIDA) and Don Bosco Job Placement Network, in collaboration with Salesian College, the District Employment Exchange, and the National Career Service Centre (NCSC) for Differently Abled.
Bosco College of Teacher Education was proudly represented by 11 students, all of whom were successfully shortlisted during the recruitment sessions.
The programme commenced with an invocation by Fr. Elow Samuel, Rector of Salesian College, followed by a welcome address delivered by Fr. Dr. Paul Punii, Principal of Salesian College. The keynote address was given by Fr. Dr. Roy George, Director of AIDA, who emphasized the importance of youth employability and the need for meaningful job opportunities.
The special guest for the occasion, Mr. Abdu Saleem TK, Head of Office and Rehabilitation Officer, NCSC Dimapur, highlighted the growing need for skill development and career readiness among young job seekers.

The job fair witnessed the participation of several reputed recruiting organisations who conducted both online and offline interviews. These included:Chilli Breeze,Jio Reliance,Indian Army (Agniveer),CEC,Flyways Aviation,Shri Vidya Mandir,T Tec,Auxilium School,OHAA Tech School,Santhome School.
In addition to job interviews, the fair featured career counselling sessions, vocational training information, and on-the-spot interview opportunities, aiming to effectively bridge the gap between education and employment.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Sebi Chacko, Programme Coordinator at AIDA.
