Report of Talent Hunt

A two day Talent Hunt program was held at Bosco College of Teacher Education on 22-23rd August, 2024 at the college’s Multipurpose Hall. The event witnessed a varied of performances that showcased diverse talents from the 1st year B.ed trainees, aimed to provide a platform for the fresh trainees to showcase their diverse talents and foster a spirit of creativity and unity within the college community. 

A two day Talent Hunt program was held at Bosco College of Teacher Education on 22-23rd August, 2024 at the college’s Multipurpose Hall. The event witnessed a varied of performances that showcased diverse talents from the 1st year B.ed trainees, aimed to provide a platform for the fresh trainees to showcase their diverse talents and foster a spirit of creativity and unity within the college community. 

  • Day 1: The inaugural program, chaired by Yungphula (3rd Sem), commenced with the invocation and Bible reading by Sr. Diana (3rd Sem), followed by a Welcome Speech by Principal Fr. Joseph Sabu, in which the principal emphasised that the event was aimed at promoting cooperation and collaboration within the new group of trainees. After which, the talent show began with a series of performances in various categories as follows: Solo presentation and Group Song presentation. Marlen Y Sangtam opened the Solo presentation representing Group 1, followed by Imsulakla representing Group 2. The Group Song presentation started off with Group 3, followed by Group 4. Another solo performances act was presented by Sungjemnola representing Group 4 andSenchumbeni C Ngullie representing Group 3. Followed by Group Song presentation by Group 2 and 1, respectively. The first day concluded with a thanksgiving blessing by Sr. Sankha Paul (3rd Sem). 
  • Day 2: The second day of the event continued with more delightful performances in the category of Speech/poetry recitation and Dance performance. Hinoli of Group 3 recited a Poem, while Rijin Joseph, Augustine Gangmei and Tsapila Sangtam of Group 1, 2 and 4 respectively, presented speeches. And for the final act of the Talent Hunt, group dance performances were presented by all the four groups. 

The event culminated with an award ceremony where the best performances in each category were recognised with prizes. The judges comprising of the faculty members encouraged them to continue grinding their talents.
