POLICY ON OBC CELL

The college’s aim for the OBC (Other Backward Classes) cell is to support their specific requirements and challenges faced by the OBC students. The primary objective of this cell is to create an inclusive and supportive environment within the college for students and faculty belonging to OBC communities.

By establishing an OBC cell in compliance with the Government of India directives the college demonstrates its commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion on its campus and contributing to the socio-economic empowerment of the OBC community.

Objectives:

• To facilitate admissions and to provide necessary support services to OBC students
• To monitor the college’s reservation policy.
• To monitor the implementation of various government schemes and policies related to OBC Community
• Communities and OBC Committee Composition are being implemented.
