Objectives of the Disciplinary Committee
- The key objective of Disciplinary Committee is to maintain discipline among the students with will speak for the dignity, decorum and rapport of the college.
- The Motto of the college is “Exemplo Docemus”, meaning “We teach by Example”. Thus, to set apart out students as examples certain disciplinary regulations are essential.
- Holistic Education which is the vision of the college is inclusive of discipline.
- It is necessary to channelize the students through rules and regulations for the potential use of the valuable time.
- It leads to the development of students’ personality making them efficient member of the society and in turn nation.
Key Functions of the Disciplinary Committee
- Formulate the rules and regulations for the student teachers.
- Orient the student teachers on the code of conduct and rules to be followed.
- Support the college in smooth functioning of the academic routines.
- Monitor whether the student teachers follow the rules and regulations.
- Banned the intake of toxic substances like tobacco, pan, or smoking.
- Restrict the use of smart phones by students during class hours.
- Check if student teachers are wearing proper ID cards.
- Instruct them not to loiter around the campus unnecessarily.
- Guide the students on giving biometric attendance and not leaving college without permission.
- To inspect and prevent any indiscipline actions like lack of punctuality, lack of regularity, misconduct with staff and classmates, ragging juniors, and /or any damage caused to college property.
- Take strict disciplinary action against any disobedience.
