POLICY ON SC/ST CELL

 The college’s aim for the SC/ST cell is to guarantee the effective execution of affirmative action directives and policies that support the welfare and advancement of communities of Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). The primary objective of this cell is to create an inclusive and supportive environment within the college for students and faculty belonging to SC/ST communities.

By establishing an SC/ST cell in compliance with the Government of India directives the college demonstrates its commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion on its campus and contributing to the socio-economic empowerment of SC/ST communities.

Objectives:

• To facilitate admissions and to provide necessary support services to SC/ST students
• To monitor the college’s reservation policy.
• To organize awareness campaigns, workshops, and seminars to raise awareness of and empathy toward issues faced by SC/ST communities.
• To monitor the implementation of various government schemes and policies related to SC/ST Communities
• Communities and SC/ST Committee Composition are being implemented.
