On 5th September 2025, Bosco College of Teacher Education joyfully celebrated Teachers’ Day, an occasion marked with deep respect and heartfelt gratitude towards educators. The event commenced at 9:30 AM and was graciously hosted by Ms. Lita K. Zhimo and Mr. Zuchobemo Kikon.

The celebration began with a warm opening address by the hosts, who extended their heartfelt wishes to all the beloved teachers. This was followed by an invocation prayer led with grace and reverence by Sr. Kupalu, setting a spiritual tone for the day.

A soulful choral tribute of “You Raise Me Up” uplifted the atmosphere and paid homage to the guiding role of teachers. One of the highlights of the event was a touching tribute speech delivered by Fr. Bebin George, who expressed profound admiration for the tireless dedication and perseverance of teachers. He narrated an inspiring story of a teacher who identified the struggles of a child in the classroom, urging the teacher trainees to be a beacon of hope and encouragement for such students.

Adding vibrancy and joy to the celebration, the second-year students performed a delightful dance presentation, which was met with applause and cheer.

This year’s Teachers’ Day celebration was made even more special by the occasion of the birthday of the Principal, Dr. Fr. Jose Joseph, which coincided with the birthdays of three students. A grand cake-cutting ceremony was held to mark the joyful moments of shared celebration.

The Principal, Dr. Fr. Jose Joseph, addressed the gathering with a heartfelt message. In his speech, he expressed deep appreciation for the unwavering commitment of the faculty and emphasized that the vocation of a teacher is among the most challenging yet noble professions. His words served as a motivation for both faculty and students alike.

A visual tribute dedicated to the teachers was presented, followed by a heartfelt gift presentation by the students as a token of respect and appreciation.

Amo Manteih N. Walim mesmerized the audience with a solo song performance, while the first-year students energized the gathering with a lively dance to classic Bollywood numbers, captivating everyone present.

Towards the conclusion, Ms. Longkoi P. delivered the words of appreciation, thanking her fellow students for their enthusiastic participation and acknowledging the Principal for the opportunity to express their talents and strengthen their sense of unity.

To conclude the event, Fr. M.P. Thomas shared a few words of wisdom and led a closing prayer, invoking God’s continued guidance and blessings upon the teachers and the entire academic community.

The celebration was followed by a special meal arranged for the teachers and refreshments for the students. The joyous occasion concluded with group photo sessions, capturing the cherished memories of the day.
